We’re looking for a Programming Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Portfolio. You will provide an exceptional welcome to people through creative visitor activities and trails. You will work across 3 properties including Ashridge Estate, Dunstable Downs and Shaw’s Corner.

**This is a full time, two-year fixed term role. There will be a requirement to work regular weekends to support the delivery of our programming and the wider team.**

**What it's like to work here:This vacancy is included in a trial of the ‘Disability Confident’ scheme (level 1).**

You'll join a newly formed programming team and you'll report to our Programming and Partnerships Officer, working both independently and with a wide range of staff and volunteers.

What you'll be doing:Working with the team you'll create and deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do. You’ll deliver high standards of presentation on site and ensure all our communications with our visitors around the property is clear and consistent.

You will help draft delivery plans, source event materials, create high quality and artistic resources and ensure the smooth delivery of our events. This is a hands-on, creative role, with a need to be flexible, adaptable and support where required with daily operations, to assist in welcoming visitors to our properties.
