Hygiene Supervisor

Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Chippenham who are recruiting for a Hygiene Supervisor to join the team, working a 4 on 4 off basis.

The working hours are 20:30 - 06:00. 4 on 4 off and with an hourly pay of £16.45 per hour.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a safe working environment for the employees in the department.
- Ensure all scheduled cleans are completed and communicated
- Working directly with the Technical and Production Departments to ensure the highest food safety and hygiene standards are embedded throughout the team
- Planning, organising and monitoring the team in order to achieve or exceed the expected performance levels
- Supporting the engineering function in routine preventative maintenance and cleaning and also the production function in line start up post deep cleaning and maintenance.
- Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and improved.
- To be aware of all food industry cleaning chemicals their use, mixing strengths and precautions.
- Monitor the work of Hygiene Operatives whilst performing their tasks.
- Control of site PPE, inventory and issuance.
- To help effectively monitor and control costs in terms of chemical contracts and key items of equipment under the control of this role
