Join us as a CDD in-life Anti-Money Laundering Unit Leader
- Joining our specialist anti-money laundering team (AML) team, you’ll be working together to deliver the most successful outcomes for the business and our customers
- You’ll be investigating queries, supporting business processes and procedures, and understanding the needs of our customers and the business

- You’ll work from home some of the time, but you’ll also spend a significant amount of time working from our office

**What you'll do**:
You’ll make sure that the team actions customer requests together with reviewing the risk profile of the customer, while accurately collecting and evaluating all the information required to complete this to a high standard and in line with policy requirements.

Sitting within a specialist AML team, you’ll ensure processing is performed accurately while investigating queries and raising with the relevant parties. Driving continuous improvement opportunities within the team, you’ll continually improve team performance through training and knowledge sharing. As such, you’ll ensure the team delivers the most appropriate and fit-for-purpose solution to meet stakeholder needs and protect both the bank and our customers.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

- Developing the capability of your team through observations, feedback and coaching
- Maintaining key performance indicators, service level agreements and key risk indicators
- Reviewing processing errors and customer complaints to identify trends and training needs and effectively planning and managing your team’s workload
- Capturing and collating MI as required
- Supporting the development and maintenance of business continuity plans
- Establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the business and the broader bank to plan and deliver against goals

**The skills you'll need**:
You’ll need knowledge and experience of working with AML processes and procedures, alongside an awareness of up to date trends, policies and regulations. You’ll also be able to work accurately to deadlines and with a high level of attention to detail.

We’ll also be looking for you to demonstrate:

- An understanding of the financial services industry and our customers
- Knowledge of our products, processes and banking systems
- Good written and spoken communication skills
- The ability to develop others
