**The Role**

The Workforce Planning Officer will ensure their area is managed effectively and in line with legislation, best practice, internal governance, quality assurance arrangements and local authority contracts as well as supporting continued service expansion and development.

You will be expected to support, the deployment of staff teams, using our People Planner system, to deliver creative, flexible, effective client and staff Rota requirements. You will support compliance and quality assurances through reconciliation and data analysis.

**Key responsibilities**
- Rota and Deployment, ensuring all our contractual needs are met.
- To take immediate and appropriate action to cover staff absence, arranging and planning alternative solutions to service requirements.
- Strong communication, to include notifying staff teams to changes in deployment, answering staff and client requests.
- Support payroll requirements, staff timesheets and hours worked.
- Identify areas of concern with reconciliations and provide updates to the Team Managers.
- Support the reduction of agency costs and ensure overtime is kept within budget.
- Support crisis resolution, such as deploying additional staff.
- Ensure compliance and governance of Local Authority contracts
- Support the Team Managers in effective holiday management to minimise impact on the service.
- Maintain co-operative working relationships with other areas of the business to ensure continuous improvements.

Location: Fishponds, Bristol

**Salary**: Competitive

Hours: 37.5, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00

**Skills and Experience**
- A social care qualification would be an advantage
- A recognized management qualification would be an advantage
- Relevant experience of working in mental health or another comparable field.
- Relevant experience of Rostering.
- Relevant experience of data inputting.
- Knowledge of the health care sector.
- Clean and full Driving License and use of a car would be an advantage.
- Strong IT Skills.
- Strong timekeeping and organised.
