Early Careers Coordinator

Costain have a great opportunity for an **Early Careers Coordinator** to join Anglian Water’s Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA)
The Early Careers Coordinator will be responsible for developing the Early Careers pre-apprenticeship program with local colleges and will provide a collaborative approach to meeting future workforce skills by integrating sponsored academic modules and broad workplace programmes. These programmes will be a key enabler to delivering productivity and efficiency improvement across the Anglian Water Alliances
To develop our team, we would particularly like to see applicants from the Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire/Norfolk areas to successfully carry out the role
**About the Project**
Anglian Water has created a new delivery enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. “SPA” is creating hundreds of kilometres of new, interconnecting pipelines to help combat the impact of climate change and keep fresh, clean water flowing across the Anglian Water region.
The new network is one of the largest infrastructure projects for a generation and is a complex and challenging major infrastructure project
**Key Responsibilities**
Coordinating the skills development programme in partnership with local colleges supporting the collective priorities of the Alliance partners
Integrating sponsorship programmes that provide academic knowledge with workplace apprentices in a model that spans all Alliance parties and strategic supply chain framework
Developing the sponsorship with colleges to an agreed budget
Developing key stakeholder relationships with local schools, businesses, and councils to promote the programmes to our target market
Develop pathways into our organisations through traineeships, apprenticeships, and graduate apprenticeships
Fully understand the apprenticeship levy and how we can best utilise the partners levy pots
Working collaboratively with the colleges, lead partners and Anglian Water to develop a marketing and recruitment plan
**About You**
Experience of project management preferred
Experience of working in the Utilities sector preferred
Current knowledge and experience of the apprenticeship process and funding
Experience of working with learning providers
Excellent team player
Confidence, drive and diplomacy when working with stakeholders
Ability to work both in a busy office, colleges and working sites
IT/office skills are essential as is being prepared to work as part of a team. Reliable, flexible and adaptable to a changing environment
Full driving licence
