We are looking to recruit a Recruitment and Retention Lead mental health nurse, who is enthusiastic, motivated, clinically astute. As part of the education team your responsibility will be to consider innovative and supportive methods for focusing upon retention and recruitment within the midwifery team.

You will need to have enthusiasm for working in innovative and forward thinking ways, and have excellent skills in organisation, managing staff and dealing with complex situations. The post holder will support the head of nursing and lead nurses.

The post holder will participate in working flexibly to provide cover Monday to Friday,. You will be expected to work across the city of Birmingham as required for clinical

The aim of this role is to lead on and coordinate recruitment and retention activities and the associated administration for the mental health Department.

Liaise closely with the inpatient matrons and community leads, the Lead education nurse as well as the HR Department and Trust recruitment team. Co-ordinate local recruitment activities ensure the recruitment process is undertaken in accordance with Trust policy.
