**Debt Insight Officer - Council Tax**
**Full Time - 37 hrs per week (Monday - Friday)**
**Salary - (£28,770 - £30,296)**

Lancaster City Council & Preston City Council operate as a shared service for the provision of revenues and benefit functions, and as part of this provision we administer and collect Council Tax on behalf of both Councils.

Duties include:
Dealing with Council Tax customers, by phone, correspondence and sometimes in person to establish their needs and take appropriate steps to meet those needs

-Work in partnership with internal departments and external agencies, including debt advise and charitable organisations.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated applicants who can demonstrate an ability to deal with customers, work independently and innovate, whilst contributing to a team. You must have outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills.
