**SENCO - Alternative Provision - Barnet - April Start**

We are currently looking for an experienced SENCo to join our team at our inspiring alternative provision, catering to students aged 5 - 18, who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons. This can include social, emotional, mental health, behavioural and medical difficulties.

We provide specialist programmes that empower our students to overcome barriers that prevent them from engaging in mainstream education. We recognise and meet individual needs to develop the potential of every student, with core values of ambition, respect, empathy, reliability and honesty being consistently implemented.

- Inner London MPS / UPS + SEN Allowance
- Located in the Borough of Barnet

**Person Specification - SENCO**
- **Must have UK QTS**
- Suitable for experienced mainstream or SEND SENCO’s
- Experience of complex SEMH needs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Committed and resilient
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Creative and innovative
