Tradewind Recruitment is working with a 1-form entry faith school in Enfield to find an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support the KS1 team. This role involves covering a class one day a week, teaching phonics interventions, leading interventions alongside class teachers, creating stimulating learning resources, and working with the SENCo to support pupils with SEN and EAL needs.

About the Role
  • Cover a class one day a week in KS1
  • Teach phonics interventions
  • Lead interventions when necessary alongside the class teachers
  • Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
  • Work with the SENCo to support pupils with SEN and EAL needs

This position requires previous or current experience as a HLTA or LSA, lots of initiative and a pro-active approach, knowledge of the primary curriculum, ability to work as a team, and a level 3 qualification is ideal but not essential.
