**Dunchurch Park Hotel** are looking for an enthusiastic **Activities Assistant **with a heart for hospitality, to assist the Activities Co-Ordinator in delivering a programme of activities for our guests.

Working closely with partner organisations you will assist the Activities Co-Ordinator to deliver the weekly activities programme for our guests. Our programme currently includes Box and Chat, ESOL lessons, sports activities, needlework lessons, arts and crafts sessions and offsite educational visits.

You will act as an onsite point of contact for volunteers and partner organisations, assisting them to deliver sessions when needed and ensuring resources and equipment are on hand.

You will be ‘hands on’ with activities, and able to deliver sessions of your own, particularly for our younger guests. You will contribute ideas and enthusiasm and assist with the planning and resourcing of sessions.

You will need:

- A passion for working with people.
- To be conversant with all aspects of safeguarding, particularly in relation to children (Safeguarding training will also be provided).
- The ability to be sensitive and understanding.
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent people skills.
- The ability to stay calm and focussed.

This is a part time position. Specific hours to be discussed on interview. Weekend and evening shifts will be required, particularly during school holidays. The position may suit someone who has experience of working with children and young people in either a school or nursery or youth work setting, or those working towards a childcare qualification who wish to supplement their income at weekends or during school holidays.

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
