We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Rye Hill, a **category **B **Prison located in **Rugby**

The site currently offers various shift patterns
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £27,195 per annum - depending on experience.

**What you'll be doing**:
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will
- You will be involved in the implementation of clinical care packages, phlebotomy and assessment, treatment and the evaluation of patients’ care.
- You will support and assist patients with the activities of daily living, work with the Pharmacy Team to help them fulfil their daily tasks and you will be encouraged to take the lead on well-being promotion clinics.

- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- We are ideally looking for someone who has experience of working in a Health Care Assistant role or similar.
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
