The ICB MH programme team are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced place-based lead to work within our Children and Young Peoples mental health programme. You will be part of a wider team of place based and programme leads across all age MH programme and strive to deliver the NHS Long Term Plan and supporting Children and Young Peoples mental health transformation.

Experience of partnership work and delivery of projects is an essential part of this role and with local stakeholders, users and partners, ethe team is developing an exciting programme of transformation for the future.

The Place lead for Children and Young People will hold a portfolio directed by the Programme lead for CYP EWBMH and will work in one of the 4 Integrated Care Board (ICB) Places to deliver a local programme of service developments, transformation, and develop partnerships to meet outcomes for children and young people as set out within the NHS long term plan and the ICB CYP MH THRIVE programme.

The Place lead will seek to understand a Place and its specific needs whilst supporting delivery of programmes and projects that sit within the CYP element of the All-Age MH programme. The post holder will work flexibly across several projects and work within a matrix structure to meet the needs of the whole CYP MH team.

**The role will**:
Develop and connect to place supporting integration and transformation

Develop local partnerships and relationships

Deliver clinical and service pathways in place

Deputise for the CYP programme lead

Work closely with the place-based adults lead, MH delivery and transformation leads, and supporting officers

Oversee service developments, production of contracts and specifications and monitor delivery and finances

Engage the community; specifically, service users with lived experience, their families, and carers, to meet ambitions of the CYP programme and projects

Balance delivery of business as usual in the CYP programme with transformation and change

The Mental Health Programme team are part of the Medical directorate in Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB. The programme team aim to deliver the ambition of the NHS Long Term Plan for Mental Health and improve the outcomes for people living in L&SC with a Mental health illness or wellbeing concern.

The Mental Health programme is delivered by working with NHS and non-NHS stakeholders and partners and is embedded in a population health approach to meet and improve outcomes of a varied group of residents and across a challenging geographic area.

It is an ambition to support delivery of first-class mental health and wellbeing services that provide a safe and effective experience for service users, families, and carers and to do so within the resources provided from L&SC ICB.
