The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning resources and materials to deliver projects in line with demanding timescales, cost efficiency and continuous improvement goals. All projects are to be conducted according to current health and safety regulations,using specific customer requirements where needed.

This role will involve collaborating with other members of the Project Delivery team and with the company’s approved sub-contractors. Capabilities in problem solving, effective communication, leadership, influencing, and negotiation are key to for this roleand will allow those working relationships to grow.

**Role Dimensions & Key Stakeholders**

The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning resources and materials to deliver projects in line with demanding timescales, cost efficiency and continuous improvement goals. All projects are to be conducted according to current health and safety regulations,using specific customer requirements where needed. This role will involve collaborating with other members of the Project Delivery team and with the company’s approved sub-contractors.

**Accountabilities & Work Examples**
- Complete on-site customer visits to build on working relationships and gain information for the processing of quotations/estimations.
- Prepare quotations/estimations for customers making recommendations based on company product knowledge, systems of work and installation techniques.
- Support KAM and Project Managers to identify opportunities to optimise project delivery through the allocation of resources.
- Develop schedules aligned to the company’s live and/or committed projects, ensuring we maintain and/or exceed customer expectations.
- Coordinate internal and external resources in line with project schedules, whilst communicating with operational leads to review challenges/customer demand and prioritise accordingly.
- Evaluate the availability of materials and resources prior to scheduling and committing to project timelines.
- Manage the on/off hire, to include scheduling of tooling/equipment, enabling projects to be delivered on time and in budget.
- Monitor and analyse data to produce regular updates and report on progress and perceived risks so that solutions can be agreed.
- Maintain regular contact with customers throughout a project through specified electronic sources.
- Manage the impact and costs of scope changes and variations.
- Coordinate with Finance team to ensure that projects are invoiced efficiently and to ensure that plans are realistic, achievable and within budget.
- Create and maintain auditable trails of detailed project documentation and measurable data.
- Schedule weekly project review meetings to review SLA’s and KPI’s.
- Maintain commercial awareness of our key markets, competitor products, pricing and service offerings, and review regularly with key stakeholders with a view to ensuring our offer/range meets our clients demands.
- Represent IWS group companies within the marketplace where required by management.

**Success Measures**
- Build and maintain effective customer working relationships.
- Weekly/monthly reporting on sales growth and opportunity, to include quote volume.
- Weekly/monthly reporting on project deliverables, risk, slippages, or gains.
- Meet or exceed customer’s expectations on delivery of project deadlines.
- Project completion within budget and targets.
- Coordination of appropriate resource allocation.
- Maintenance of auditable documentation trails.
- Engagement with project delivery team and sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Demonstration of continuous improvement.

**Skill & Experience Required**
- Capabilities in problem solving, effective communication, leadership, influencing, and negotiation are key to for this role and will allow those working relationships to grow.
- A good standard of general education backed by a track record of continuing professional development is essential.
- Able to prioritise, develop work schedules, and influence others to achieve results.
- Exemplary communication and customer engagement skills.
- Collaborate effectively with others to ensure business improvements and efficiencies.
- Knowledge of H&S regulations relevant to the industrial storage equipment industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of products, systems of work, installation techniques and construction basics within the industry.
- People and/or Project Management qualification(s) would he highy desirable.
