Mainland Catering Equipment Ltd is a privately owned organisation based is Haslingden, Lancashire. We supply commercial catering equipment and schemes to various pub chains, restaurants, schools, bars, etc. We are currently looking to hire a purchase/service administrator.

The Applicant should be able to:

- Have a good understanding of Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
- Be able to work on your own initiative.
- Answer questions and provide assistance to stakeholders as needed.
- Demonstrate clear and open communication skills both oral and written.
- Be able to work well with others in the office.

What will you be doing?

The role will be varied and include, but is not limited to the following:

- Enter purchase ledger details into our system.
- Produce reports as required.
- Purchase ledger administration.
- Place purchase orders with suppliers
- Managing supplier information and relationships
- Placing warranty and chargeable service calls and dealing with engineers
- Overseeing all customer service requirements

What do you need?

You should be able to manage your time effectively, be punctual and work well within a small team and deliver efficient, reliable and accurate services to fellow employees and customers. You will ideally be educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent and demonstrate basic IT skills with and neat and tidy approach to your work.
