Join our Finance department Deliver smooth running of the finance operations and provide effective support to the rest of the organisation, during & after its transition to Factory International

Please note this is a 6-month fixed-term contract.
To deliver a range of finance team services. To contribute to Finance department’s overall efforts to achieve smooth running of the finance operations and the provision of effective support to the rest of the organisation, during and after its transition to Factory International.
Responsibilities for the Finance Administrator role include:
- Working with and supporting other Finance Administrators on Purchase/Sales processing. Activities will include
- System input of sales/purchase invoice information
- Chasing to ensure compliance with approval process
- Escalating issues to the Financial Accountant as required
- Cross organisation working to ensure timelines are met
- Supporting on expense processing including
- System inputs
- Ensuring expenses policy requirements
- Assist Financial Accountant in closing year-end processes within the relevant areas of responsibility. Prepare information and paperwork for auditors and any other inspection as required
- Deputise for Finance Administrator-Purchase Ledger and Finance Administrator-Sales Ledger in their absence and assist in these areas of work, as and when required
- Other duties as required during the Festival and as we move into our new building in 2023
The person specification for the Finance Administrator role is:
ESSENTIAL
- Relevant experience of working in a busy department (Finance preferred but not essential)
Accuracy with excellent attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills, interest in accounting and interested working towards accountancy qualification, grasp of VAT
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude including a flexible approach
- Commitment to championing representation and inclusion at every level of the organisation with a proven ability to work with people from a wide range of backgrounds
DESIRABLE
- Familiarity with Access Financials or other accountancy packages. A quick learner with an ability to understand new systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong administrative skills including strong IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a fluctuating workload
- Enthusiasm for training, mentoring and support of emerging talent
