Working as part of Vice Chancellors Office, you will support the Safety & Compliance Manager and Health and Safety Advisor (Professional Services) in promoting and advising the Professional Services teams on matters of health and safety; providing competent health and safety advice, reviewing related risk assessments / codes of practice, conducting investigations into significant incidents, ensuring all local H&S post holders complete relevant training, and maintaining associated local records; Helping those teams meet and surpass their statutory obligations for health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining the wellbeing of staff, students, contractors and visitors in support of the University’s Corporate Strategy;
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter to help the University meet and surpass its statutory obligations and ensuring staff and students of the University of Greenwich are healthy and safe.

This post is based at the Avery Hill Campus but working across all campuses will be required.
