You will support our Disabled Adaptations Service and Private Housing functions and be responsible for designing home adaptations for disabled residents and processing disabled facilities grants.

Based in our small and friendly Food, Health and Housing Team you will be part of the wider Public Protection Service who provide a full range of environmental health functions to protect the public and regulate businesses to comply with the law.

Knowledge of private sector housing, legislation, regulations and codes of practice is essential. Previous experience of enforcing standards and administering grants in private sector housing is desirable. This post is full-time and would be suitable for an enthusiastic experienced officer or graduate seeking Local Authority experience.
