**What you’ll do**
To drive and support Vodafone UK in its commitment to process personal data honestly, ethically, with integrity and consistently with applicable law and regulation, the Vodafone GDPR Programme and Annual Privacy Plan. In summary, ensuring Vodafone remains and continues to be compliant as a business.
- Responsibility for advocating and driving privacy and data protection compliance across the UK business including compliance with applicable privacy and data protection law and regulation, the Privacy Annual Plan and Vodafone GDPR Programme.
- Responsibility for triaging and managing new data protection impact assessment demand into the UK Privacy team for assessments and approvals including undertaking and supervising privacy impact and related assessments on products, services and projects and liaising with legal counsel.
- Responsibility for the effective and timely completion of data privacy impact assessments for UK and Group projects impacting the UK business.
- Review, assess and approve high level designs, proofs of concept and data protection impact assessments to identify privacy and data protection risks to the UK business and effectively communicate the required mitigation measures for privacy approval.
- Work closely within the Privacy and project teams across the business to support product and service launches, fixes and to appropriately flag and mitigate privacy and data protection risks.
- Provide timely privacy and data protection advice, assistance and support to the UK business working closely with legal counsel, compliance, product, consumer, technology, and business operations teams.
- Responsibility for the effective and timely completion of the annual Group Privacy control framework testing working closely with multiple business areas to collaborate and collect evidence to support.

- Ability to build and maintain an excellent network of contacts and relationships across the business.
- Confidence and ability to manage and effectively support stakeholders across a broad range of functions and seniority.
- Excellent communication skills. You will need to deliver concise and clear advice and requests for information.
- Excellent time management skills. You will need to be able to manage, supervise, triage, and respond to demand to meet deadlines as well as effectively manage competing priorities.
- Expertise and experience in data protection and privacy compliance issues preferred.
- Experience in and/or knowledge of telecoms regulation / telecoms industry an advantage.
- Strong IT skills.
