Job Title: Payroll and Finance Administrator
Location: Birkenhead
Shifts: 20 hour week (flexible with hours and days)
**Salary**: £15.38 p/h
Type: 6 month temporary contract
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll and Finance Administrator to manage the end-to-end payroll process and handle various finance tasks for our client based in Birkenhead.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Execute the full payroll cycle, including data collection, entry, processing, and validation for 100+ employees
- Ensure payroll activities comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information, earnings, deductions, and benefits.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
- Manage and update payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and finance roles.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office/Excel
- Experience in using Cascade
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £15.38 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
