An opportunity has arisen at University Hospital Wishaw to join our team as a Clinical Secretary.

You will provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently and you will work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Applicants must have an SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) **plus** at least 2 years’ experience in healthcare administration **or** at least 3 years’ experience in a secretarial role and an understanding of medical terminology. You will have evidence of effective team working and dealing with change along with strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.

Excellent organisational skills and evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems are essential to the role as are audio typing skills.
