Buying Admin Assistant

To support our growth, we are excited to be recruiting a Buying Admin Assistant to work from our Head Office in Leeds.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Assist the Assistant Buyer/Buyer with the day to day running of the range and samples.
- Assist the Assistant Buyer with compiling weekly Competitor Shopping Reports to highlight competitor activity, missed opportunities & promotional activity.
- Manage critical path along with the wider buying team.
- Managing sample process, involving requesting, reviewing and managing all samples for the category.
- Support the Assistant Buyer with compiling relevant information needed for key planning meetings.
- Assist the Assistant Buyer with any order amendments and post trade actions.
- Proactively reviewing the website to ensure the customer shopping experience of our ranges is easy and that copy, pricing amends and general housekeeping are feedback to marketing.
- Management of re-merchandising ranges on site to help maximise sales opportunities.
- Responsible for the product launch packs and product launches across categories.
- Create and maintain all product sheets, ensuring they are completed with correct information.
- Take minutes in meetings and ensure they are written up and distributed in a timely manner.

- Producing ad hoc reports and gathering information as instructed by wider buying team.
**What will I need to be considered for this vacancy?**
- Desire to learn and have a passion for homeware product.
- Social media awareness and understanding of the relevance to category.
- Proactive and forward-thinking in suggesting improvements.
- Confidence in their knowledge of the market and ability to challenge and influence across all levels.
- Systems driven, proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office software.
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills, being able to work with the Buying team and other teams to reach a common goal, sharing information and supporting colleagues.
**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
