Pertemps Exeter is currently working with a local family run business that has been established for over 11 years. Due to continued growth and an excellent sales pipeline they are now looking to expand their team further.
They are currently looking for an **Accounts Administrator**.
As an **Accounts Administrator**you will naturally be numbers driven and you should have the following skills and attributes.- Sage 50 Accounts knowledge or equivalent
- Purchase Ledger, Nominal Ledger and Sales Ledger experience
- Office 365 knowledge and generally IT proficient
- Able to prioritise effectively and have solid communication skills
- An analytical and agile mindset
- Able to work both in a large team or small as well as alone.
- Excellent Administrative Skills
- Bank Reconciliation
In the role as an**Accounts Administrator**, you will be expected to liaise with all members of all departments within the business to ensure the continued smooth running of the accounts department. The purpose of this role will be to providedaily support to an already well-established Accounts Team.
Responsibilities will include:

- Inputting of Accruals, Prepayments & Journals
- Inputting of Purchase Ledger Invoices & Credits
- Reconcile monthly priority Purchase Ledger Supplier Accounts
- Make supplier payments on Bank Account
- Daily Sage Back ups
- Credit Checks before any new Sales and Purchase Ledger accounts are opened
- Preparing daily Stripe cash reports
- Preparing daily Truck Money received Reports
- Reconcile all Bank Accounts both Daily and monthly
- Assist with the overall Management accounts
Working hours will be Monday - Friday 8:00 - 16:30 with 30 mins for lunch. Holiday allowance will be 21 days per annum plus bank holidays - this increases 1 day per year of service up to 25 days
Competitive starting salary of £21,840 depending on experience
