Anpr Intelligence Support Officer

Applications are invited for the above posts in the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Hub at OCC Wymondham, Norfolk.
The Intelligence Support Officer provides specialist knowledge to support the development and use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) in Norfolk and Suffolk Constabularies and be a point of contact for all internal and external ANPR enquiries.
**It is essential that applicants meet the following criteria**:
- Ability to research and develop information gathered from a variety of sources and documents based on the findings
- Developed keyboard skills and computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems
- Ability to work using own initiative to identify and research problems with mínimal supervision and work to tight deadlines
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of 3x5x2 intelligence processes and the National Intelligence Model (NIM)
- Basic knowledge of, and the ability to apply, the Data Protection Act 2018, Management of Police Information and Human Rights Act to day to day business
- Ability to critically assess information and identify the most appropriate form of action in line with policies and procedures
- Good written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively at all levels within the Forces and outside agencies
- Ability to travel across Norfolk and Suffolk as required and further on occasion
**It is desirable that applicants meet the following criteria**:
- Experience of database administration
- Knowledge of legislation and national standards relating to ANPR
- Experience in identifying & highlighting development opportunities that relate to emerging issues & risks
- Previous experience of working within an Intelligence environment
Hours of work are 37 per week (Mon-Sun between the hours 0700hrs-1800hrs) on a rotating shift pattern. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
Consideration will be given to whether the post can be delivered on either a part time or job share basis, in line with the organisational requirements of this role.
