Are you an experienced retail professional with a passion for the food industry?
Do you have a background working for a retail operation that is food based?
Are you passionate about eco-friendly, organic and local supply of ethical products?
Do you have experience in Merchandising, invoicing and business operations?
Do you wish to grow within a large and successful family run business?
As a high level merchandiser, product Coordinator you will be:
Maintaining accurate records from ordering through to invoice to ensure accurate business reporting & supplier payments.
Interact with a number of functions across the business from sourcing through to shop floor, as well as external suppliers.
Product Knowledge & Management
- Creation of all new products using excel templates
- Amending product data when necessary, supporting and resolving issues such as barcodes not scanning
- Manage ongoing housekeeping of products held in the database, changing selling status when products discontinued.
- Build up product knowledge across all areas of the store in order to help with customer and staff queries.
Supplier Management and Orders
- Provide Sourcing team with support in responding to new supplier enquiries
- Build knowledge of the supply base, be an ambassador for the company in all interactions with suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers on any order issues such as out of stocks. Agree changes with team and action on purchase orders
Administration
- Match delivery notes to purchase orders & invoices where raised through the database. Process through the system to update internal stock levels, cost prices & create invoice for supplier payment in the CRM System
- Match delivery notes to Invoices for non-stock Items. Process directly to CRM system where relevant.
- Identify and highlight discrepancies between delivery paperwork & purchase orders/invoices with regards cost prices and quantities.
- Liaise with suppliers on any delivery issues such as incorrect stock, damages or missing items. Amend orders & request credit notes as needed
- Support team in creation of communication documents for the team,
- Weekend handover documents (general information, stock availability
- Sales performance & bestsellers
- Under guidance of the team review weekly price change report.
- Identify lines where prices need changing, create upload documents and action under instruction.
- Print labels & support team with updating on the shop floor.
- Support team with ongoing projects to improve overall efficiency of the ordering & invoicing process
