This is a generalist Human Resources Advisor / Senior Advisor role, supporting designated client groups/areas as well as providing wider support to the team where required. The main areas of responsibility will be resourcing, reward, employee relations and other operational activities,

There will also be opportunities to support HR initiatives and projects across the team. Role and Responsibilities (this is a broad but not exhaustive list)

Resourcing
- Recruitment methods and process, defining resource requirements and timelines working with the Talent Acquisition Team.
- Producing and amending job descriptions.
- Assist with the production of onboarding paperwork as and when necessary.
- Draft Intention to Hire forms for role approvals.

Reward
- Assist the Business Partners with the annual salary review and bonus process.

Employee Relations
- Advise on a full range of employee relations activities including performance management, absence management, discipline and grievance procedures, flexible working and equal opportunities.

Projects
- Work with the relevant teams on projects or initiatives such as Early Talent and Social Mobility initiatives.
- Assist and participate with strategic HR projects and consider new initiatives which could improve efficiencies within the team and wider firm. HR Procedures
- Working knowledge of the HR Information System (“PeopleHub”) and ensuring that the information on the system is uploaded accurately and promptly.
- Preparing documentation for changes in terms of employment.
- Liaise with the HR Administrators to ensure starter/leaver processes are correctly followed.
- Assist with the annual appraisal processes.
- Lead family friendly meetings i.e maternity/ paternity interviews and ensure all relevant processes are completed.
- Ensure that absence management procedures are proactively followed with consistency across teams/groups.
- Manage Occupational Health referrals.
- Notify payroll of any changes such as promotions, maternity/paternity leave, sabbaticals etc.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience of operating at an Advisor or Senior Advisor level is required, ideally within legal or professional services.
- Significant generalist experience in delivering high quality, commercial HR advice,
- Experience of resolution of employee relation matters.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience

- Excellent communication skills and the acumen to effectively influence within client groups.
- Professional manner with the ability to work collaboratively across the firm and HR.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and manage tight deadlines.
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders within a number of different teams and locations.
- Credible, articulate and comfortable with systems, data and analysis.
- A desire to keep up to date with upcoming changes in Employment legislation.
