**Operations Coordinator - Leeds - Competitive Salary & Package**
Chase & Holland are excited to be working closely with a leading and successful logistics business based in Leeds who are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Operations Coordinator to join their growing team.
Within this role you’ll be responsible for organising international import and export shipment via different means aiming to meet our client’s extensive customer needs.

**Operations Coordinator Responsibilities**:
- Start to finish global import and export operations
- Booking and quoting shipments with worldwide points of contact
- Negotiating and obtaining shipment best price by liaising with suppliers and carriers
- Handling orders, invoices and processing pre-alerts
- Checking of cargo ensuring correct documentation and funds are cleared
- Completing customs entries
- Customer care including follow ups, updates, and keep in touch calls
- Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents etc
- General administration
**Required Skills & Experience**:
- Previous experience in Freight forwarding essential
- Knowledge of freight and customs systems (Desirable)
- A good understanding of regulations and compliance
- Strong negotiation skills
- Customer service experience
- Experience with other modes of transport (Desirable)
