Our client, a prestigious think tank, have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to join their busy and interesting team on a permanent basis

Based in London on a hybrid working model, this is a great role for anyone who has excellent experience in developing business to reach their full potential. This role will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities to grow income, scale, and impact.

Duties within this role will include:

- Developing and leading the delivery of a business development strategy for complex research and design projects, as well as targeting prospects for funding.
- Managing and being accountable for the creation of high value proposals and pitches, ensuring they articulate our offer in an accessible, compelling, and practical way.
- Ensuring strong relationships with potential, current and previous funders.
- Leading on identifying, researching, evaluating, and communicating funding trends and new business opportunities through research, events, and regular contact with partners.
- Contributing to the delivery and development of the Business Development & Partnerships strategy and champion its implementation within the team and across the organisation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the not-for-profit funding landscape, and the different areas that not-for-profit organisations can approach for funding.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders (such as Businesses, Trusts and Foundations, Government Bodies, and Academic Institutions).
- Confident and persuasive written and in person communication skills with the ability to professionally and expertly communicate to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent team working skills and ability to work across a range of briefs concurrently, prioritizing across multiple workstreams
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
