**Background**:
The Head of PG and International Marketing is part of the Student Recruitment and Marketing team that includes UK and International recruitment, undergraduate and postgraduate marketing and student recruitment events.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that City is able to meet its business objectives and student recruitment targets for PG students from the UK, EU and overseas through development and implementation of a PG marketing strategy; and to ensure that the international recruitment team is supported with marketing activity and country-specific marketing.

**Responsibilities**:
The Head of PG and International Marketing will manage a team of one manager and three officers to support City and its six Schools in recruiting high calibre students and drive brand awareness and reputation.

You will work with recruitment, admissions teams and across the University, and be responsible for bringing City’s new Strategy and positioning as the University for business, practice and the professions to life.

You will develop marketing strategies for Post Graduate and international recruitment and evaluate and review plans to ensure the return on marketing investment is quantified and effective.

**Person Specification**:
You will be CIM qualified (post-qualification) with significant experience of marketing experience, ideally in a complex service environment. You will have experience of postgraduate recruitment and markets and be comfortable with people and budget management. You will be a good team player with effective leadership skills and the ability to influence and collaborate. Excellent communication, presentation and data analysis skills are required along with strategic thinking and the ability to implement strategy and coordinate key projects.
