If you’re looking to get hands on experience in childcare, whilst learning from the most talented people within the sector, this is for you. With a SWIFT childcare apprenticeship, you won’t be spending most of your time doing class work you’ll be in a nursery learning first-hand what it truly means to work in childcare. This 13 month qualification will provide you will a full time paid position as well as gaining the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. We will match you with a business that needs someone like you to further enhance their setting, putting all your learning into action with the support of not only your assessor but your employer, the WHOLE Swift team and of course, the other apprentices. If your looking to make the first step into the early years sector or to further upskills your knowledge and skills then this is for you

**Smarty Pants Day Nursery**

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted in June 2017, has been running in Plaistow, Newham for a total of 25 years. It aims to provide exceptional care to children, in a rich yet challenging environment, allowing the children extensive opportunities to learn and explore. **The main responsibilities of this job role will include**:

- Working towards **Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship**.
- Supporting the development of the childcare provision.
- Providing an excellent range of activities that ensures that the child learns **whilst having fun**.
- Being a team player.
- **Providing challenging and stimulating activities for all children**:

- Taking part in First Aid training as required
- Responsibility for equal opportunity in delivery, access and attitude in aspects of service delivery
- Working with teams across the nursery setting
- **Supporting children’s learning and development.**:

- Preparing and maintaining the environment and resources for the children.
- Preparation of food for breakfast, snack and afternoon tea.
- Supporting children’s self-help needs.
- **Being creative and enthusiastic**.
- Following Safeguarding rules and regulations to also meet the Standard of the Childcare Apprenticeship.

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program, you have the potential to advance into a Level 3 practitioner role within our nursery. Additionally, opportunities for career growth include Room Leader positions, management training, transitioning into primary education roles, pursuing paediatric nursing, or continuous professional development within our nursery setting.
