Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

**Early Years Educator Apprenticeship (Level 3) - SHOFAR DAYCARE CENTRE**

You must be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, with particular knowledge, passion and experience of caring for babies and young children. If you have significant experience in working with preschool children and hold a current level 2 or above qualification such as NVQ2 or are willing to train to a minimum or equivalent level in childcare we would love to hear from you.

- Wage: £22,260-£27,588 according to experience
- Hours/Patten: 40 Hours a week
- Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - All learning will be delivered online.
Main Duties:
- To contribute to a programme of activities (both secular and connected to the Jewish faith) that meet the individual needs and interests of children in your area in conjunction with other team members.
- Participate in a ‘keyworker’ system and take special interest in a specified number of children. To keep records of your key children’s development and learning journals, including those on Tapestry (online journal) and future developments of all key children, to share with parents, carers and other key adults in the child’s life at regular intervals.
- Complete progress checks as laid out in the Early Years Foundation Stage on your key children and share these with parents in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Engage in good team working.
- Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
- Share in planning for the children in your key area paying particular regard to your key children and their future development needs and interests.
- To attend out of working hours activities, e.g., training, monthly staff meetings, parents evening, fundraising events etc.
- To be flexible within working practices of the nursery. Be prepared to help where needed including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g., preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc. and such other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as may be determined from time to time by the Director.
