Administration & Business Support Assistant

A unique and exciting opportunity to join a growing team and operate across a dynamic range of administration and business support responsibilities.
This role, based in Manchester and within WTW’s Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) business, is perfect for an applicant seeking an evolving role and who has the strong IT, organisational and communication skills to make it successful.
You will be supported by your colleagues in developing your skillset and understanding of the insurance business, with the opportunity to grow your responsibilities and remit as our team and business grows. We invest in people and your mindset matters moreto us than the experience you have.
The foundations of the role are to provide administrative, secretarial and business support for the Manchester team of 35 colleagues, including, but not limited to the following types of responsibilities:
- Building effective working relationships across the team and with stakeholders outside the team, to become a "go to person" for day-to-day administrative support
- Ensuring clients’ queries are dealt with demonstrating the highest standards of professional excellence, to agreed timescales
- Diary management and meeting coordination, both internally and externally with WTW’s clients
- Arranging travel intineraries
- Processing expense claims
- Records management to the standards required for a 'green light’ audit.
- Updating WTW resource management tool.
- Timesheet data extraction and processing
- Arranging team social events (and being part of the social committee)
- To undertake such other duties commensurate with the level of responsibility for the role,as directed by your line manager
- Other responsibilities can be incorporated as you settle into the role and seek to expand your remit.
**The Requirements**
- Strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to deal with a wide range of people across all levels of the business
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise conflicting demands on your time, and work to agreed timescales
- Experience of working in a team environment with the ability to be flexible and responsive to client and business needs
- Experience of working with administrative processes
- Experience of working in a client facing environment
- Experience of accurate record keeping, client invoicing and documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive data in an appropriate manner
- Trust worthy, understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- Good numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail
- Digital literacy, with advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
