**Job Description**:
Reporting to - Material Control Supervisor
- To check and verify deliveries of materials in and out of the stores.
- Inspect for loss or damage of deliveries.
- Book in deliveries and inform recipients
- Maintain the stores in a clean and safe condition.
- Work day shifts (7am -3.30pm, 7.30am - 4pm, 8am - 4.30pm)
- Enter into the computerised system all materials received and dispatched.
- Pack material for dispatch.
- Administer receipt of tools and tool calibration.
- Conduct physical and computerised stock checks including rolling and/ or annual Inventories.
- Interface with internal and external customers/suppliers.
- Purchasing stock /fuel/following up of incoming transactions.
- Delivery and collection of company materials.
- Be able to dispatch items using shipping agents DHL FEDEX etc.
- Liaise with customs regarding imports to the UK.
- Arrange for the delivery and collection of vehicles in Europe and worldwide.
- Act in accordance with the behaviours for UTAC staff at all times

**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
- A current full UK driving licence
- A current fork/reach truck licence would be desirable
- Good general level of education

**Experience**
- Experience in Material handling / warehousing / stock control
- Used to working in a busy environment
- Awareness / appreciation of health and safety practices and procedures

**Skills**
- To be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- A basic level of computer literacy
- Numeracy, Literacy and organisational skills
