We are looking for a skilled Quantity Control Specialist to join our client's team in Bedford. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and experienced professional to take on a key role in the financial management of multiple projects across the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project finances with precision, ensuring budgets are accurately forecasted, tracked, and maintained. They will work closely with a dedicated team while enjoying the flexibility to manage their time between sites and the office to meet deadlines.

  • Cost Estimation & Forecasting: Price and forecast the costs of various project components.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and adjust budgets in response to design or construction changes.
  • Material Sourcing: Select and source appropriate construction materials.
  • Contractor Sourcing: Identify and engage contractors and subcontractors for project execution.
  • Financial & Legal Oversight: Address and resolve financial and legal issues as they arise.
  • Subcontractor Payments: Manage payments to subcontractors in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain strong communication with clients, site managers, project managers, and other construction professionals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
  • Full UK Driving License:

This role offers a competitive salary range of £38,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience.
