University Biomedical Services is a division established within the University's Unified Administration Service (UAS), charged with the management and operation of all animal facilities on behalf of the University. The purpose is to provide a comprehensive biomedical service to facilitate the research and teaching requirements of users from other University Departments and commercial external users, in order to provide a safe, legal and Home-Office compliant working environment that meets good practice standards at all times and promotes the ethical use of animals in research.
The HR Administrator is a key position within the HR and administrative teams of the division. Working closely with the Senior HR Coordinator and in liaison with the UBS Central Office administrative team, this role will provide advice to staff at all levels undertaking HR administration and general administrative duties to support the daily operations of the Anne McLaren Building, and the department as a whole.

In order to succeed in this role, you will join us with:
- Experience in an administrative support role - Knowledge of facts, principles, processes and general concepts related to office or HR Administration - Experience of Microsoft Office or equivalent - Excellent organisational skills & ability to prioritise own workload - Excellent communication & interpersonal skills - A good general education to at least A-level standard/NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of practical experience - Experience of administering high volume processes to tight deadlines - The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with excellent attention to detail - Evidence of strong communication and customer service skills in a variety of methods - The ability to plan your workload while also adapting to changing priorities
