Pandas Kids Club is a busy Out of Hours Club, located in Bracebridge Heath and South Hykeham. Pandas is committed to working in partnership with parents and other playworkers to provide safe, fun, stimulating and enjoyable childcare for children who attend our clubs. We aim to help parents balance work commitments and family life by providing convenient, affordable and high quality care for their children.

Main purpose of the job:
Looking for a new challenge? Then join one of Lincoln’s leading Out of Hours and Holiday Club. We are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic team member to join a busy, OFSTED registered ‘out of hours’ setting.

Hours of work are 22.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9.00am and 3.00pm - 6.00pm), term time with the possibility of 7.30am - 6.00pm during periods of school closure (on rota to cover full day service).

**_Essential to the position_**

A relevant NVQ Level 2 (or above) qualification is essential. No previous experience is required, however some experience with working with 4-12 year olds / Playwork setting would be preferred.

A full Driving License and be able to commute between both settings.

Responsibilities will include:

- planning and organisation of a range of stimulating and developmental activities
- supervision, safety and welfare of children
- active participation in training and development
- giving children the freedom to spend their leisure time in their own way
- encouraging fair and caring behaviour among the children
- encouraging independence and self-esteem
- talking to children about their concerns or worries
- dealing with health & safety, injuries and other emergencies
- communicating and liaising with parents, staff, and sometimes other professionals

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
