Lek's Kids Clubs are looking for part-time staff who are passionate, caring and have experience in childcare. We are operating an After School Club for 20-30 children and we also run a Holiday Club during the school holiday periods.

You will work as an effective member of the out of school club team delivering a flexible, high quality care centred service after school (up to 12 hours per week) and during school holidays (up to 20 hours per week) that meets the needs of children 5-11 years of age and their families.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a desire to work with children and can work flexibly to suit the needs of the setting.

You will make a difference by:

- Promoting good childcare practice in a professional, inclusive and flexible manner.
- Planning and taking part in play and leisure activities for children.
- Caring for and supervising our children, making sure that they are safe and happy.
- Thoroughly enjoying your role and making every day count for the children in our care.

No qualifications are necessary but a recognised qualification in childcare such as NVQ level 3 will be advantageous.

The following will be provided:

- Paediatric First Aid Training
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Training
- Safeguarding Children Training
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate check

Rate of pay - £12 per hour.

This post is a zero hours contract. The hours required will be decided by the club owner and manager and is dependent on the number of children attending the club to maintain the Ofsted required ratio of adults to pupils.
