**Content Executive - Farnborough**:
The main areas of this role are summarised as follows:

- Planning - helping to plan and deliver engaging content for the business. Examples include half yearly exclusive client magazine Aspire, regular Financial and Market Updates, digital and printed brochureware, flyers, guides, tender responses, campaign materials, online and website content.
- Writing - an exemplary writer, creating content that motivates, builds trust, increases audiences and drives enquiries. You write clean, concise, well-polished copy and understand how good content and different formats can be used to engage, convert and retain our audiences.
- Editing - review and editing of draft content supplied by others (internally and externally) to ensure it is effective and meets the Company's guidelines
- Design review - work closely with in-house / external designers and other team members to ensure that content and design work together, are appropriately targeted and on brand, including the development and testing of new content formats, including the increased use of data visualisation.
- Business development - creation of tender responses and other support materials to support our business development objectives.
- SEO - ensure online content is optimised for search in line with key word development.
- Analysing - ongoing reviews of the effectiveness of content to improve performance
- Brand/tone of voice - Build and maintain the Company's written guidelines, championing our tone of voice within the company
- Production - where required, to assist with the management of production and print

Knowledge
- Essential to have knowledge of financial services, particularly products and solutions sold in the retail financial services market.
- Essential to have knowledge of both hard copy and digital marketing communications, including creating SEO website content.
- Preferable to have knowledge of relevant professional Marketing Codes of Practice (such as Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), Direct Marketing Association (DMA), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Internet Code of Practice (ICOP)).
- Preferable to have knowledge of Data Protection Act, ICO guidelines and other related marketing legislation.
- Proficiency in packages such as MS Word, Outlook and MS Excel.

**Qualifications**:

- GCSEs in Maths and English, grades A*-C/9-4
- Desirable but not essential to have a degree (or equivalent level) in a Business related discipline.
- Desirable but not essential to have or be working towards financial services qualifications.
