**Job Title**:Lead Infrastructure Support

**Salary**:Circa £48,000

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Leading in the delivery of planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualised environments
- Implementing agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines, configuring tools to automate the provisioning, testing and deployment of new and changed infrastructure
- Leading in the development of new or improved practices and organisational processes or standards and facilitates localised improvements to the quality system or services
- Considered the SME for a significant domain, discipline or technology

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**:

- Experience of level 2/3 technical support including Microsoft Windows server environment
- Detailed understanding of Incident & Problem management and will work on the most complex issues with no need for supervision or support

**Desirable**:

- Experience of visualisation and or VM ware
- Worked in active directory
- Trained at least to ITIL foundation and either appropriate ITIL Intermediate or other appropriate capability training
- Knowledge of working within a SIAM operating model

**Our Service Desk Team**:
As a Lead Infrastructure Support, you will be involved in fault finding and problem solving leading to permanent improvements. You will lead on and facilitate communications between stakeholders, acting as a single point of contact for defined groups. You will manage open communication and discussion between stakeholders and capture, agree and share technical and business information presenting outputs to all levels of stakeholders.
