Patient Services Assistant

Waterloo Health Centre is looking for an Administrator / Patient Services Assistant for this busy GP Practice for immediate start. This position is full time 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Customer service and IT skills would be an advantage, Training will be provided.

**Main duties of the job**
- Process incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
- Following up requests for appointments, information from hospitals, booking transport or interpreters
- Processing of incoming prescription requests, lab reports and clinical documents in EMIS Web (Patient Database)
- Organise transport for patients to hospital appointments
- Effectively manage front desk reception (on a shared rota basis) to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the integrated reception service.
- Assisting patients with our online and digital services (Accurx, Online registrations and NHS App)
- To observe safe working practices, with respect to health and safety procedures, confidentiality and computer security

**Salary**: £11.05-£12.50 per hour
