**Role requirement**

We are seeking a Stock Controller to join our facilities department. This is a fantastic time to join Castelan and continue your career journey within our facilities team. This is a full-time on-site role as a Stock Controller located in Weston-Super-Mare.

**Role duties**

The Stock Controller will be responsible for daily stock management and inventory control. The stock controller would be accountable for both physical and office-based tasks.

**Other duties (are not limited to but include)**:

- Maintaining catalogues/spreadsheets for all products and suppliers
- Manage stock handling
- Raise purchase orders for stock with suppliers for direct delivery to Technicians
- Record and update all purchases of stock on a Spend Sheet on a weekly basis
- Manage all PAT testing and maintenance of electrical tools
- Process all loss/damage/faults regards stock with technicians to suitable outcome
- Mange inventory, which includes manual work such as heavy lifting and work both outdoors and indoors, overseeing deliveries and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Office duties include data entry, record-keeping, and collaborating with other departments to maintain efficient stock management processes

**Attributes, Experience and qualifications**
- Stock Control and Stock Management skills
- Inventory Control experience
- Analytical and organisational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with different departments and customers
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and resourceful
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages such as Office, Excel, and Word
- Can adapt to new challenges effectively and efficiently
- Experience in the retail or logistics industry is desirable
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in stock control or inventory management is desirable
- Full UK Drivers licence
