This privately owned FMCG manufacturer is looking for a hands on Finance Manager to become part of the senior team and provide financial information that will support their continued growth. The business is profitable and currently operating at £2.5 - £3mturnover, they supply a number of specialist retailers and national multiples whilst also exploring export markets and developing new products on a regular basis so the future looks very bright.
- Reporting to the MD and consultant FD and working collaboratively as part of a management team onsite
- Preparation of the management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
- Producing reports on the financial performance of the business
- P&L, balance sheet recs, gross margin and financial KPI analysis
- Reporting on sales, cost of sales and labour / materials
- Preparation of budgets, cash flow management and forecasting
- Manage all transactional activity including credit control
- Capital expenditure analysis and maintenance of fixed asset register
- Analysis and control of direct and overhead costs & variances.
- Support the preparation of year-end financial statements

Part of this role will involve driving process improvement in finance and across the business, the Finance Manager will play a key role in the implementation and maintenance of company finance and ERP systems. In addition you will support the commercialteams with customer trading agreements and pricing structure whilst also being the go to person on site for external service providers, bank and HMRC etc.
