Senior Management Accountant Job Description

Kenton Black Finance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring the accounts team, preparing the month-end pack, and supporting with year-end/audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the accounts team to ensure efficient and accurate financial processes.
  • Prepare the month-end pack, including P&L, balance sheet, commentary, and analysis.
  • Support with year-end/audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Streamline existing processes within finance, improving efficiency and productivity.
  • Work cross-functionally, providing financial insight and advice to non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or actively studying and committed to completing studies within the next 12 months.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence where required.
  • Good systems skills, including Excel, handling large and complex data sets.
