An exciting vacancy has arisen for an Internal Communications and Training Partner. Responsible for creating and developing a coordinated programme of internal communication, leadership training and engagement, aligned to the UK’s business’ strategic priorities. This role will provide excellent communication support to drive internal communication across all 3 UK sites and maximise employee engagement levels. It will also lead the delivery of UK’s leadership training programme and will support in Lantmännen Unibake’s employer value proposition, engaging potential talent through external communication activities.

You will be great at:

- Building and executing an internal communications strategy with the Senior Leadership Team
- Creating and evolving an internal communication plan to support employee engagement
- Leading the design and delivery of leadership training in the UK
- Creating communications material featuring our own employees to support in attracting new talent and engaging existing employees
- Managing a variety of internal communications related events and processes including UK quarterly business performance updates, conferences, companywide campaigns including the creation of videos.
- Lead implementation of key communication and engagement projects across business
- Developing and delivery of communication plans utilising a multi-channel approach
- Leading and developing all communications including proof-reading internal communication pieces and careers website

You are:

- An excellent communicator with sound written and editorial skills
- Creative solutions finder, who will be responsible for planning, shaping and delivering effective and engaging internal communications
- Experienced in working with a variety of communication channels, hardware and software, such as video and editing software, and content creation software
- Excellent IT skills and experience with digital communication / social media
- Exceptional all-round communications skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within an organisation
- Effective multi-tasker with strong time management skills and an ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
- Highly organised and able to prioritise high workloads
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to respond positively and proactively in a fast-changing environment (with ambiguity)
- A skilled facilitator of small and large groups achieving effective results

You have:

- Extensive knowledge of communication channels and processes including content management systems and social media platforms
- Internal communications and training and development experience preferably within a corporate manufacturing environment
- Extensive experience of design and delivery of a wide range of management skills training interventions
- Proven experience in a communications role ideally with a concentration on internal communications projects
- Proven track record of implementing successful communications strategies involving multiple stakeholders
- Assessing training needs of staff with managers and designing and delivering engaging training interventions in line with the organisation’s goals
- A real delivery focus - you need to be great at getting things done
- High degree of flexibility and used to working under pressure and to short timescales
- A positive, results driven and “can do” attitude
