Job Summary

The Training & Ops Program Manager is responsible to create a culture of continuous learning and growth through programs that enable Papa Johns International to constantly evolve and develop.

This role is responsible to develop materials to enable advancement within highlighted opportunity areas outlined by the business. This will include specification of the overall design, together with scripting and storyboarding of the digital learning components, video/audio capture, video/audio editing, job aids, implementation guides, facilitation guides, infographics, case studies, presentations, and leadership programs. This role is responsible to build and oversee the quality assurance and standardization of development programs.

The purpose of this role is understand the learner requirements to help with the creation and management of high-quality content in a variety of modalities to support the execution of business strategies and objectives of all departments throughout the organization. Additionally, the role is responsible for maintaining content and version control.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Develops content to support business objectives from a variety of departments, including video and other support materials
  • Works closely with the Director, Op's Excellence & Training, Instructional Designer, and the Operational team to understand all requirements and develop content to provide the best outcome possible
  • Write high-quality scripts and develop storyboards for the production of digital learning
  • Utilizes video, audio, photography, and lighting equipment in a variety of environments to capture content as needed
  • Work with subject-matter experts from various departments and/or conduct other research to develop instructional content that will meet business requirements
  • Design and create instructional aids for the stand-alone, instructor-led classroom, or online use.
  • Create graphic designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts
  • Edit and update existing training within the internal review procedures to apply modern design principles, relevant content, and current brand standards
  • Write and edit copy for use in audio and video scripts, storyboards, user guides, and a variety of other materials
  • Utilize instructional design principles to define instructional, learning, or performance objectives
  • Manage and curate content as needed and in alignment with established criteria defined by the Director, Operational Excellence & Training
  • Work with stakeholders and training committee to evaluate training content meets the business need
  • Review feedback and change requests to meet continuous improvement strategy
  • Be responsible for the quality assurance of training programmes, implementing procedures to enable consistent training delivery across the international business.
