**Responsibilities of an inbound collections advisor**:

- Establishing the consumer’s ability to pay.
- Contacting consumers to put in place tailored solutions to enable them to address their debt situation bearing in mind their financial well-being.
- Handling general file queries.
- Sending out financial statements, evidence and response packs.
- Working with vulnerable consumers in line with the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Negotiating re-payments and settlements.

**What are we looking for?**
As an inbound collections advisor, you will be expected to have:

- Minimum 6 months experience in a customer service or contact centre role.
- People skills and confidence in your PC skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- A positive "can-do" attitude, strong service ethic, and a passion for people.
- The ability to handle challenging calls, with resilience and determination.
- English and mathematics to a satisfactory level.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (desirable)
- Collections experience in a consumer environment (desirable)

**Salary**: £22,300 per annum.

**Hours**:Work 40 hours per week. Must be available for shifts between 8am - 8pm Monday to Friday. Every third weekend you will be required to work a weekend day, consequently you will receive a day off during the week.

**Training**: Full training provided and paid for.

**Location**: Manchester, M1.

**Start**: 22nd August.
