We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive dining experience. - Greet guests with a warm and welcoming smile
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to their preferences and the restaurant's seating capacity
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Communicate with the kitchen staff regarding table availability and special requests
- Assist in food preparation and plating when needed

- Previous experience in the culinary or hospitality industry is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and restaurant operations
- Ability to work well in a team environment

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £7.01-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
