We are looking for an experienced Content Editor to join the marketing team that can help us produce compelling and engaging copy and improve our written pieces.

Within this role you will have the opportunity to assist with editing, revising, restructuring, and producing a broad variety of professional documents such as blog posts, editorials, proposals, PR publications, copywriting pieces on social media, and other publications.

Additionally, you will be able to proofread and create engaging and entertaining content that will appeal to our audience and help us grow our brand.

**Responsibilities**
- Use word processing software and text management systems to edit and prepare an engaging copy
- Proofread, re-structure, and edited articles by content writers
- Edit publications according to specifications for style, tone, and length, while also ensuring the correct use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Ensure publications meet style, formatting, and general quality standards
- Ensure publications are completed on time and within applicable budget constraints
- Maintain current knowledge of developments and trends in the area of content creation
- Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
- Manage the editorial calendar and ensure timely publication
- Propose new ideas around industry-related topics
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software
- Proven work experience as a Content Editor, Web Editor, or similar role
- Portfolio of published work
- Team spirit
- Two years of editing experience required
