We’re looking for a freelance copy editor to work with our team of creative strategists to ensure responses to creative briefs are of the highest quality.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a self-starter with a proven track record of copy editing or subbing in a marketing or media environment.

You are highly organized and detail-oriented with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

You love working in fast-paced, quick-turnaround, agency/sales environments, and will be able to hit the ground running on a wide variety of projects.

And you love YouTube, watch a lot of Twitch, use Discord, and understand what’s happening in video games and entertainment and have an interest in the creator economy

THE ROLE

You will be working in the Creative chapter, as part of the creative strategy function, supporting strategic responses to client and company briefs. You will work directly with the creative strategists, partnerships (sales), client success, and delivery teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Copy editing pitch responses and other content where required.
- Ensure that pitch responses and other copy adheres to the in-house style and tone of voice.
- Compile and update style guides as required.
- Collaborate with creative strategists to shape creative ideas, keeping the client in mind.
- Ensure client, audience and sector insights and creative ideation are present, clear and to the point in all pitch responses.
- Update relevant internal planning documentation

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 2 years working in a similar role.
- Thorough understanding of the creator/gaming/social ecosystem.
- Knowledge of digital landscape and audience development.
- Familiar with the RFP process, analysing briefs, ideating and providing commercially attractive responses.
- A passion for video games and geek culture
