**Line Manager**: Group Managing Director
**Location**: LHR, UK
**Conditions**: Full Time (Monday to Friday)

**Main Role Accountabilities**:
**Strategic Planning**:
- Design and build a culture of cohesive working, and productivity where innovation and ideas are recognised.
- Design benchmarking where HR performance can be measured and reported.
- Ensure resources, vision statements, career development plans are aligned to the corporate 3-year plan.
- Provide guidance to management on best HR practices and productivity tools.
- Work with the Executive team during the planning and budgeting process to validate resourcing requirements.
- Support new business initiatives from a people perspective (new regions).
- Create HR initiatives that support strategic growth (diversity, gender etc)
**Policies and Procedures**:
- Lead development of, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with regional employment legislation and best practice in operational countries.
- Review and update policies and procedures with changes in legislation and best practice/thinking.
**Employee Engagement**:
- Lead and encourage employee engagement that is designed to foster healthy and productive working relationships within and outside the business.
- Ensure effective performance management of global staff through comprehensive appraisal schemes and regular review.
- Create a culture of positive thinking and strong customer servicing.
- Ensure adequate attention is given for employee development and its monitoring
- Provide a counselling platform for all members of staff to discuss their issues at work.
- Design employee incentives and rewards that encourage active employee participation and recognition of their efforts.
- Support the business in keeping employees up to date with its progress
**Employee Benefits/Payroll**
- Responsible for maintaining industry upper-tier attractive employee packages across the Group including salary, benefits and training.
- Work directly with international finance teams to ensure that payroll data is correct and submitted to the external provider in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review and where applicable standardise the employee benefit schemes for all group companies.
**Staff Development**
- Provide support to regional managers to develop the skills and capabilities of their employees including:
- Technical skills training needs in conjunction with on-the-job experience.
- Develop the next level of managers and equip them with appropriate management skills.
- Provide a structured career path for key employees that will support the businesses growth plans.
- Provide advice and support to line management of employees who have performance related obstacles.
**HR Performance Management**:
- Instigate a global employee feedback platform to assess performance of HR activity.
- Implement and maintain KPI’s that support driving business improvements.
- Create an environment where employees are comfortable discussing issues with the HR team.
- Ensuring all disciplinary and grievance procedures are followed as per the polices and local legislation. Guide and support local management in the process, seeking external professional advice when appropriate.

- Work with the Internal Recruiter to maximise our exposure and generate strong interest in all international vacancies.
- Adopt a policy of internal promotion where possible.
- Encourage, promote, and manage international employee assignment/secondments as part of their development.
