**Reports to**: Finance and Operations Director
**Salary**: NJC Manager Grade scale point 23-27

This is a full-time, term time only + 10 days position.

**AGS term time**: 190 days plus 10 days in school holidays (200 days p.a.) | 46 paid weeks

**Annual pro-rated salary**: £26,598.89 p.a. | role grade band scp 23-27, annual performance based increments to scp 27
Salary based on 52 week full time salary: NJC scp 23 £30,151 p.a. x 46 paid weeks
Plus Local Government Pension Scheme, employer contribution: salary x 22.6%

We are seeking to appoint a HR Manager to provide an effective and efficient HR service to the school. You will be able to demonstrate accurate attention to detail and initiative to identify and solve problems. You will be responsible for day-to-day HR processesfrom recruitment to performance management, and you will be expected to deliver a robust HR service, ensuring that the school adheres to the correct HR procedures and statutory requirements.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the Single Central Record (SCR) and School Workforce Census (SWF), staff absence records, and personnel files. You will carry out all stages of the recruitment process, including the processing of DBS checksand pre-recruitment checks, as well as having responsibility for the induction of new staff and the monitoring of probationary periods. The HR Manager is responsible for the booking and recording of staff Continued Professional Development (CPD) training courses,and for administrative support with the annual appraisal process.
